A small fair was in my town for today and it was pretty good for its size. There was good barbecue food, good chili, and I got myself a really good knife from one of the vendors. They even have Old West reenactment shows. Of course, when there are good things, there are some bad things. You see there were some booths where they sponsor things like local banks and political parties since there was a booth for the Democratic Party.
At first glance, the booth depicted posters that said "Protect the First & Secondment Amendments" and "Protect our Water" (There have been hassles on who has control of the local water supplies whether it be State, Federal, or private ownership.) In short, it's something you would see at the Tea Parties that have been going around the country ever since the Stimulus Package was allowed to pass by Congress. I've decided to see their pamphlets to see what they're talking about just to make sure that the folks from the booth are not associated with paranoid jackasses. To my discomfort, they were.
In one portion of the pamphlet, it was talking about a protest that is going to be a protest at DC. The topics that will be the Iraq War, Illegal Immigration, Government Spending, Unanswered 9/11 Question...
What the Fuck?!
There was obviously something wrong here, so asked the person who seemed to be in charge at the booth about the 9/11 thing. The person gave the worst possible answer by saying that 9/11 is a conspiracy and there is proof of it. To prevent me from raising all kinds of hell, I've stomped out there before anything else happened.
When you're a welder who knows for a fact that steel becomes weaker when you apply heat to it and that the people who claim to know the "truth" about 9/11 are mostly racist assholes, especially when your ethnicity is on their hate list. You would be pissed as well.
